Blastosphere: Digital Art Becomes 3D Fashion is a month-long exhibition at The Gallery at Ace Hotel New York that brings together three artists who are exploring and expanding the potential of creating art online. The works – by Alexandra Gorczynski, Miles Peyton, and Tara Sinn – began as commissioned projects for NewHive, a multimedia-publishing platform. From there, each piece was translated into a physical garment that has been encoded with augmented reality by REIFY. The result is a 3D wearable
internet that blurs the lines between art, virtual reality and the tangible world while calling traditional notions of fashion into question.
